Our traffic lead is designed for use in heavily trafficked situations and/or tight spaces where keeping your dog close is imperative. It is ideal for any situation when you want your dog to stay by your side for their safety – crossing a busy intersection, riding public transportation, walking a crowded downtown street, exploring your local farmer’s market, or even visiting your veterinarian. 

It is intended for dogs who have already been trained to walk on a standard leash. Textured non-slip webbing ensures a sure grip wet or dry. Brass hardware provides strength and durability over time. These short leads are better suited to dogs > 35 lbs since they're taller.

A traffic lead is also ideal when training the “right here” or “heel” command.
